has made sure he hasn’t put a foot wrong since his nightmare rape allegation of 2003, carefully projecting himself to the masses a pristine family man. However, throughout his career he hasn’t been able to hide his cornball side, prime examples of that being his attempt at a rapping career and his foray into “edgy” fashion modelling .
This music video is the latest entry in Kobe’s cornball file. Featuring Jay Chou (who you might recognize as Kato from The Green Hornet movie released earlier this year), it was originally a Sprite commercial but has now been expanded into a music video. Check it out…
As a Sprite spokesman, Kobe is no Grant Hill , and as a music video co-star, he’s no Michael Jordan —remember Michael Jackson ’s epic “Jam” ? At the end of the day though, this video will most probably make Kobe an even bigger icon than he already is in Asia (if that’s even possible—he’s pretty much at god-like status there), so we can’t knock his hustle.
But to help scrub the image of the Chou/Bryant collabo from your mind, here’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model Kate Upton doing the Dougie! You’re welcome.
