Oscar nominee for The King's Speech (plus he played the Marquis de Sade in Quills!) Geoffrey Rush is taking on some superhero fare this year. Apparently he's contributing his voice to the Warner Brothers Marvel adaptation of Green Lantern, which is something we really really care about (it's not the Green Hornet? With Seth Rogen? Confusing.)
Rush has lent his vocal stylings to a character named Tomar-Re, a (really ugly) scientist above who works alongside the eponymous main character in the Green Lantern Corps. Warner Brothers is airing some clips of the Martin Campbell-directed flick at CinemaCon in Vegas this week, so we'll get to see Rush in action. Jesus, that thing really is ugly.
