Tops International Box Office

The Hornet taking Asia by storm...

The Green Hornet was the #1 movie internationally for the second weekend in a row this week, pulling in just under $16 million throughout 64 international territories. That brings the flick's total to $139.8 million globally. It's doing especially well in the Asian territories.

Behind that at #2 was Tangled , which earned $14.7 million in 43 territories this week, bringing its international total up to $253.4 million. The movie has actually done better internationally than at the domestic box office, where it has earned just $189.6 million.

It seems to be a trend this winter, as Tron: Legacy , Gulliver's Travels and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader all performed better abroad than at home.
